We are hosting two DIY Wedding Workshops instore on Sat 28 September, at the Shop on Carroll Pre-loved Wedding Extravaganza!
- Vintage Jewellery Workshop
- Vintage Candle Making Workshop
In these workshops, we'll focus on re-using and upcycling materials in an effort to grow conscious consumerism for an event i.e. a wedding, that is typically considered a 'single use' event. And we'll have fun doing it, yeehaa!

Vintage Jewellery Workshop
Join us for a dazzling session, where you'll make your own upcycled jewellery piece, using preloved vintage jewels and treasures. Restore sparkle and glory by re-using them in a different way and giving them another wonderous life.
The 2.5 hour workshop will be guided by renowned Dunedin jeweller, Kirsty Lewis, where she will show you simple techniques to hand create a unique necklace, bracelet, earrings or brooch, that you'll be thrilled to take home with you. All tools and materials will be provided.

Vintage Candle Making Workshop
Join us for a mesmerising session, where you'll learn how to make your own heavenly scented candle using sustainable and natural products, poured into pre-loved vessels from our selection of vintage glassware and ceramics.
Learn step-by-step the art of candle making, guided by Fi McKay, from Vavoom Vintage Candles, to create a candle you'll be thrilled to take home with you, or give as a gift. Allow 3 hours for the workshop. All tools and materials will be provided.
